Calculation data stays out of measurement.

KurashiQ calculators run in your browser. Salary, rent, and other inputs and calculation results are not placed in URLs or measurement events. A site-search term is passed once to the search page in this tab's sessionStorage; it is not placed in new search-result URLs or measurement events. If an older URL contains a q parameter, the page removes it immediately after reading the term.

Limited measurement that does not depend on consent

When a published calculator page renders, the site sends a calculator_viewed event to a same-domain KurashiQ Pages Function. After a calculation succeeds, it sends a calculator_completed event. KurashiQ supplies only four application fields to Cloudflare Workers Analytics Engine: event name, calculator ID, locale, and formula version. These events use no cookies, user or device identifiers, calculator inputs, or results. Cloudflare adds operational timestamp and sampling metadata and currently retains the data for three months.

We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics (RUM) to understand page usage and display performance. It aggregates page views and visits, host and path, external referrer, country, device type, browser, operating system, load timing, and Core Web Vitals. Diagnostic data may include an affected element's CSS selector, source URL and size, and its layout geometry before and after a shift. It does not log URL query strings. Cloudflare states that Web Analytics uses no client-side state such as cookies or localStorage and does not collect or use visitors' personal data.

Optional analytics

Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is an optional analytics provider. The site loads it only after you select “Allow analytics.” It does not load the GA4 tag before a choice or after rejection. When you withdraw, the site updates the choice to denied and reloads the page; after that reload it does not load the GA4 tag or send data to GA4. The limited Cloudflare measurement described above operates separately from this setting. Microsoft Clarity is not used.

Google Analytics 4

GA4 processes the page URL and title, referrer, visit time, browser, device, screen and language information, approximate location derived from the IP address, page views, and standard automatically collected events. KurashiQ removes every query string and fragment from page locations and referrers before sending them, and does not enable enhanced-measurement site search, form interaction, or scroll events. After consent, GA4 uses first-party cookies to distinguish users and sessions. KurashiQ does not use User-ID, Google signals, advertising personalization, remarketing, Google Ads linking, or custom events containing calculation data.

Saving and withdrawing your choice

The site saves an allow-or-reject choice and the consent-contract version in this browser's localStorage. This record is not a user ID and is not sent to KurashiQ's server. A site-search term is held temporarily in the same tab's sessionStorage and removed when the search page reads it. Use “Analytics settings” in the footer to reopen the choice at any time and change it to reject. Withdrawal stops future optional-tag transmissions; data sent before withdrawal remains subject to each provider's retention period.

Retention and processors

The processors are Cloudflare, Inc. and, when GA4 is allowed, Google LLC. Cloudflare Web Analytics retains unsampled beacon data for seven days before aggregation and provides access to the previous six months; Analytics Engine retains data for three months. GA4 user and event data is configured for 14 months. Provider terms can change.

Data and advertising we exclude

KurashiQ custom measurement events do not contain calculator inputs or results, site-search terms, names, email addresses, a KurashiQ User-ID, or advertising-targeting data. Google Ads conversion measurement, advertising trackers, remarketing, and advertising personalization are not enabled.
